5/9: Gray Bird

TV10 Crested Butte and Gunnison Valley Daily Weather Update-  For 5/9:  This wrap around moisture is continuing to circulate through the west creating a stubborn cloud deck that will start to turn a little juicer. Moisture will favor mountains to the south and west with daytime temperatures producing a rain snow mix turning to all snow overnight. Accumulations will be limited during the day but look for 1-3 for CB and 1-ish for Gunni into Friday morning.

Temperatures: Lows were steady with the clouds at 23 for CB and 25 for Gunni. Highs will manage to climb to 43 for CB and 49 for Gunni. Lows tonight will look about the same as last night.

Outlook: Wrap around moisture generally doesn’t produce for us but this pattern pulls it all the way back to Vegas before looping back in from the southwest. This is keeping the cloud deck in place and wetter conditions will hold through Saturday morning with the mix during the days turning to snow overnight. By Saturday afternoon this cut off low slides east and we will see just remnant moisture and cloud cover in a northwestern flow take over with more sun entering the mix.
